Job Description of Sales Operations Officer

Job Title:                    Operations Officer

Reporting to:              National Sales Manager
                                               

Purpose of the position:

                                         Provide supports to Sales Directors in aligning selling resources with the greatest opportunities in
the most cost effective ways, provide tools to Sales Directors make sound and timely business decisions to drive short term 
and long term performance, ensure all Sales personnel are treated fairly and are paid accurately, help improve 
sales performance through better processes, technology and methodologies and to improve employee morale. And
significantly contribute to the success of Sales Department.

               

Responsibilities:
·         Manage day-to-day Sales Operations with strong and swift monitoring.
·         Ensure cost effective utilization of Sales Infrastructure country wide; both mechanical and human resources.
·         Make certain that competent DSFs are recruited and retained; prepare database of its record.
·         Plan and control Primary Sales Leads Generation in Head Office efficiently.
·         Communicate and coordinate with distribution section to ensure accurate preparation of Dispatch Order Forms.
·         Review with sales field force daily on Primary Sales Target achievement to plan accordingly.
·         Perform an initial and then periodical review to analyze operational effectiveness of workflows.
·         Create and / or revise policies and procedures to support effective and efficient workflows.
·         Develop Standards and measures to evaluate outcomes and provide cost effective solutions.
·         Ensure appropriate changes are implemented time to time leading to increased efficiency of Sales Operations.
·         Monitor sales support staffing levels and administrative cost territorially.
·         Maintain day-to-day MER status of field force staff.
·         Maintaining an efficient work environment.
·         Promoting the facilities of the organization to fresh and existing customers.
·         Check and audit monthly expenses of Regional Offices expenses claims and maintain ledgers respectively.
·         Within the framework of delegated authorities; promote communication, coordination and cooperation between other departments.
·         In case of National Sales Manager is on tour, provide strong feedback to secure significant business generation
·         Maintain all necessary record of approvals and others relative to responsibilities. 
·         Ensure compliance with company policies and departmental behavior.

Authority Level:
·         Can approach the National Sales Manager for directions any time wishes during official timings.
·         Can bring field force Sales Staff to answers on noncompliance to company policies; (Officers Only).
·         Approach distribution section as well as coordination to change any set process for effectiveness.
·         Can also approach Managing Director, whenever is required, to discuss unprecedented issues.
·         Can also approach Heads of other departments whenever is needed.
Qualification:
·         Bachelor Degree in Business Administration ideally suits or Graduation with sufficient sales knowledge.
·         At least one year of Sales Operations handling experience at same capacity.
·         Results oriented skills set is strongly desired.
·         The ability to train outside administrative teams on Company Process.
·         Leadership abilities; a plus.
·         Good project planning and execution skills.
·         Computer knowledge, including word processing and spreadsheets.
·         Solid understanding of business fundamentals related to negotiation.
·         A proven history of delivering strong Operations handling.
